Reflection

Assalamualaikum,

 While you are reading , this blog are probably had been submitted to my lecturer for the last evaluation of my works during this semester for the Information & Communication Technology in Science which is one of my major subject and consist of 3 credit hours. First of all, I had learnt a lot of things either in class session or practical session. Most of them are new to me such as STELLA, Interactive whiteboard, and data logging. This is my first time to hear about those things.

Honestly, on the first day of lecture I am a bit worry if unable to perform the task for this subject well because I am not the type of person that would sit in front the computer for hours and blogging. When En. Azmi told us about all the tasks for this subject such as blog, Problem based learning (PBL), STELLA and data logging, it gives a bit pressure to me because those are something new to me and I know I am not really expert on those application. For PBL, this is my first time to make it since I am minoring in mathematics.

However, I have to face with the tasks and take it as a challenge. The first things I made was asked my friend for help me and they did help me a lot. I am really want to thanks to all my friends for teach me how to make PBL, how to use application in blog, how to put slide in blog, etc. There are many new knowledge that I had learnt during this semester especially in ICT subject and all these thing are very useful for me to apply in school in the future especially during this sophisticated era.

Apart from that, there are so many things that I have to improve in the future especially on how to prepare a power point slide, to make a better PBL, make assignment report, etc. On the first presentation, our group had been criticized by our lecturer for using such a not suitable background in the purpose of teaching and learning. So, we were already being told to use a suitable background which is not to bright and do not contain many pictures as the background theme. The using of suitable background could give effect on the process of teaching and learning. One of them is the student can only focus on the topics that are being discussed. However, when there are other elements, it would distract the students view and the students would not pay attention on the topic.

 The last tasks we have to submit are STELLA and data logging. For me those are really difficult task, because we need to think out of the box, so that we can fulfill all requirements needed. Even the due date is just around the corner, but we still do not fulfill what are the requirements needed to be put in STELLA report and data logging. Even, there are many difficulties why handling the tasks, but still we can cope with those, tried our best to complete all the tasks and give full cooperation to the group members.

Last but not least, I would like to thank to our lecturer, En Azmi for being more tolerate with our attitude and taught so many things to us. This semester really give us such a new experience and get to know my friend better especially while handling those tasks. I hope all the knowledge especially about simulation, internet ethics, crime cyber, etc can help me in the future during my posting.
